The FCT High Court in Life Camp, Abuja, on Thursday adjourned the trial of a Nigerian rapper, Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as “Odumodublvck”, in a case of assault and battery until June 23, 2026.
At the resumed hearing, the claimant’s counsel, Uchenna Ojembe, announced his appearance and told the court that the matter was for hearing.
Ojembe informed the court that the claimant, Ogbogiri Okey Levi, popularly known as “Kraziecent”, who is the sole witness in the matter, was in court and that he was ready to proceed.

He went further to inform the court that the defendant’s counsel, Taiwo Akinsulie, had served him with a letter seeking an adjournment because he had travelled out of the court’s jurisdiction and may not return to the country until May 31.
Akinsuile had requested that the matter be graciously adjourned until June 3 or any other date in June to enable him to attend the court session.

Ojembe did not oppose the application for adjournment but prayed the court to grant the defendant’s application on strict terms.
The claimant counsel also drew the court’s attention to the fact that the letter of adjournment was not from the substantive defence counsel on record, but his partner in his law firm.

He explained to the court that this will be the fifth time this matter has been adjourned, and that two of those adjournments were at the defendants’ instance.
Ojembe told the court that the other two adjournments were due to the renovation of the court and the last one was due to the bereavement of the court on the 26th November 2025..
Justice Adeyemi Ajayi, in her ruling, said that she had taken judicial notice of the claimant’s counsel’s submissions.
“By next adjourned date, if the defendant fails to appear before the court, it may attract necessary orders,” she held.
The judge adjourned the case until  June 23,for a hearing
According to reports, Kraziecent filed the suit against Odumodublvck in December 2024.
He said that the defendant’s actions inflicted emotional distress on him, and his iPhone 15 Pro Max was intentionally damaged in the process.
The claimant went further to seek an order of the court directing the defendant to pay the medical expenses incurred during his treatment.
Kraziecent also sought an order directing the defendant to issue a public apology to him, through all the defendant’s social media platforms, including two national newspapers or pay him N2 billion, among other damages.
