A Delta State court has ordered the remand of popular content creator Ifeanyi Ogbonna, widely known as Odogwu Asaba, over allegations connected to the alleged rape and death of 20-year-old Favour Agbro.
The remand order was granted on Friday, September 4, 2026, following an application brought before the court.
Ogbonna has been remanded at the Ogwashi-Uku Maximum Correctional Centre and is expected to be produced in court as proceedings continue.

The development comes after the autopsy and toxicology test results in the case were reportedly made available to the police investigation team.
According to Awele Ideal, the lawyer representing Favour’s family, the results, alongside other evidence gathered during the investigation, have been incorporated into the investigation report for prosecution.
Ideal, who said she is handling the family’s case on a pro bono basis, added that the matter has now moved to the Ministry of Justice, involving the Attorney-General and the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Ogbonna was arrested by the Delta State Police Command in July following allegations that he sexually assaulted Favour after inviting her to Asaba for content creation training. Police said Favour later died after ingesting a toxic substance.
The case has generated widespread public attention, with many Nigerians demanding justice for the late 20-year-old.
However, the allegations against Ogbonna remain subject to judicial determination as the legal process continues.
