Cuppy Withdraws Lawsuit Against Davido’s Aide
Popular Nigerian Disc Jockey, Florence Otedola also known as DJ Cuppy has formally withdrawn the lawsuit against Davido’s Aide, Israel Afeare.
DJ Cuppy had earlier threatened Israel Afeare with a lawsuit following his libellous statement against her.
Afeare had took to social media to explain to the public, why rapper Zlatan was snubbing DJ Cuppy.
According to him, Zlatan blocked DJ Cuppy because she failed to compensate him for the commercial success of her 2019 hit single, Gelato.
Following the threat by Cuppy to approach court over the statement, Afeare issued a public apology to her.
In a statement by issued by DJ Cuppy through her social media page on Friday, she stated that she has informed her lawyers not to proceed with the lawsuit following the public apology by Afeare.
She then adivised people to always have valid facts before they speak on matters.
She said “Following the public apology of Isreal Afeare, I have decided to no longer proceed with the lawsuit and have instructed my lawyers accordingly.
“As social media users, I hope we can all learn from this, and ensure that we have valid facts before we speak on matters. 💕”
