Daniel Ademinokan’s ‘Gone’ Set to Hit Cinemas

Gone, Daniel Ademinokan‘s much-anticipated movie is set to hit the cinemas.

According to its producers, the movie will premiere in cinemas before the second quarter of the year.

Gone is a deeply emotional and dramatic thriller set in Lagos and New York City which follows the story of Ayochukwu, a troubled young man who turns to a boxing mentor for guidance. He soon discovers that his coach is his father who abandoned him and his mother decades ago.

It stars Sam Dede, Stella Damasus, Gbenga Atitiloye, Gabriel Afolayan, Bimbo Ademoye, Sophie Alakija, Emma Oh Ma God, and Adejumoke Aderounmu. It is produced by Joy Odiete and Daniel Ademonikan.

Just recently, the movie got its first international recognition at the Halifax Black Film Festival.
