Davido, Burna Boy, Rema win at 2023 Trace Awards

The inaugural Trace Awards held in Rwanda celebrated the achievements of musicians, executives, media personalities, stakeholders, and fans from around the world.

This event marked the 20th anniversary of Trace.

The awards ceremony, which took place on October 21, 2023, featured outstanding performances by Nigerian music stars including Davido, Yemi Alade, and ODUDMODUBLVCK.

Davido, who gained significant recognition for his record-breaking fourth album ‘Timeless’, was honored with the award for Best African Male.

Rema received the Song of the Year award for his hit single ‘Calm Down’. Burna Boy’s sixth album ‘Love, Damini’ was recognized as the Album of the Year.
