Davido Shuts Down Tweeter Trying to Pit Him against Wizkid

Nigerian musician Davido shuts down attempts to pit him against Wizkid by a Twitter user. This comes after the tweeter teased him for releasing an ad campaign shortly after Wizkid released his EP and UBA ad.

Davido, who is also an ambassador for mobile phone brand Infinix, took to his official Twitter page to share a promotional post for the brand.

The recent father of three announced a cash giveaway via the tweet. However, instead of participating in the cash giveaway, a tweeter identified as Tomi Peperempe decided to taunt the music star.

The lady suggested that Davido tried was trying to steal the attention Wizkid was getting, following the release of his unexpected EP.

Davido clarified that he is in his bag, just like Starboy Wizzy. During the media tour of his album “A Good Time”, Davido cleared the air about their relationship.

Davido has had to continually shut down rumours of beef between him and Wizkid. He has assured fans that despite their efforts, there will be no battle of the fandoms.

According to him, people are just stressing themselves for no reason, because he and his colleague have a cordial relationship.
