Davido vows to reward cyclist cycling from Benue to meet him
International superstar Davido has responded to cyclist Emmiwuks, who’s cycling from Benue to Lagos to honor him.
Davido initially asked Emmiwuks to turn back as he was not around, but Emmiwuks persisted.
Emmiwuks, who had already spent eight days on his journey, refused to let up. He responded to his idol’s tweet saying, “Am not going back Boss I must present my gift to you @davido Benin state heading to Ogun any moment from now..”
Emmiwuks, determined to meet Davido, refused to go back, stating he’d continue to Ogun state.
Davido finally caved in, asking for his account number.
He however told him to turn around because he was not around.
Emmiwuks began his 802.7km journey in August, sharing updates and media of his progress on his Twitter page.
Currently, he’s on his way from Benin to Ogun state.
