Davido‘s fourth album, ‘Timeless,’ has achieved a remarkable milestone, surpassing one billion streams on various platforms.
The album ‘Timeless’ has garnered significant excitement and has set numerous streaming records on major platforms since its release.
The latest achievement for ‘Timeless’ is surpassing one billion streams collectively on Spotify, Apple Music, Audiomack, YouTube, and Boomplay.
The album’s streaming numbers break down as follows: 191 million streams on Spotify, 274 million on Audiomack, 240 million on Boomplay, 123 million on YouTube, and 190 million on Apple Music.
Ever since its release, ‘Timeless’ has been riding high on success, largely due to the popularity of its hit single ‘Unavailable.
Furthermore, ‘Timeless’ holds multiple streaming records, boasting the most first-week streams for an album on Spotify Nigeria, YouTube Nigeria, Boomplay, and Audiomack. It also claims the record for most first-week streams for an African album on Apple Music.
Comprising 17 tracks, the album features guest appearances from renowned artists like Cavemen, Angelina Kidjo, DMW signees Logos Olori & Morravey, Afrobeats superstar Asake, South African stars Focalistic and Musa Keys, Jamaican sensation Dexta Daps, and British-Nigerian legendary rapper Skepta.
With these remarkable achievements, ‘Timeless’ has emerged as the most commercially successful African album of 2023, and it has also secured the top spot on Pulse’s Top 10 Albums for the first half of the year.
