Controversial TikTok personality and disc jockey Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, has been reportedly arrested in connection with a viral video containing alleged threats against Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to his lawyer, Rotimi Stephen, the entertainer was apprehended in Ikeja on Thursday and is being held at the Ikeja Police Headquarters, with possible involvement of the Department of State Services (DSS).
The detention is believed to be linked to a video in which DJ Chicken was heard saying in Yoruba: “If Tinubu wins the election, I will kill Seyi Tinubu.”

In an emotional video shared on Instagram, Stephen raised the alarm and appealed for mercy. “DJ Chicken is my personal project. We are just managing him. Please, those close to the presidency, forgive him,” the lawyer pleaded, while admitting that he was uncertain about further steps.
The content creator was described by his counsel as someone who has been mentored as part of an effort to give back to society.
As of the time of filing this report, no official confirmation or statement has been issued by the Nigeria Police Force or the DSS regarding the arrest or any potential charges.
