Nigerian entertainer and disc jockey, Florence Otedola, who is better known as DJ Cuppy, has spoken about how her mother, Nana Otedola, is often worried about her.
She made the revelation while celebrating her mother amid speculations of her parents’ marital trouble.
Sharing photos of herself and her mother over the years, Cuppy said one day isn’t enough to celebrate her mother, as the older she gets, the more her mother makes sense.
She said that the many things she didn’t understand as a child, she understands now. Cuppy noted that her mother protected her, was always worried about her, and wanted the best for her, even when she couldn’t see it.
In her Instagram post, Cuppy affirmed her love for Nana.

The older I get, the more my mum starts to make sense… So many things I did not understand growing up, I understand now. The way she protected me. The way she worried. The way she always wanted the best for me, even when I could not see it at the time.
Now I look back and realise how much love was behind everything she did for me.
I am just feeling really grateful for my mum and everything she continues to do for me. I love you, deep Mama”.
