Afrobeats superstar Davido (David Adeleke) has sent a powerful message of faith and gratitude to aspiring young talents, warning them not to forget God once they attain success.
In a recent interview clip that has gone viral, the “Fall” hitmaker shared heartfelt advice for young Black boys and dreamers chasing big ambitions. He emphasised belief in oneself, passion for one’s craft, and above all, maintaining a close relationship with God.
“Love what you do. Keep God close, especially when you make it,” Davido stated. He explained that success brings many distractions that can cause people to forget their foundation. “There are so many distractions that can make you forget this is the reason why I’m here. I love that God is at the basis of it all.”
