Download Bella Shmurda’s debut album ‘Hypertension’

Nigerian Musician, Bella Shmurda, has released his debut album ‘Hypertension’.

Taking to his Instagram page on Wednesday to announce the release of the album, he appreciated everyone who contributed to the success of the project.

He wrote “I say a big thank you to y’all. My family, fans, team, producers, engineers, and creative directors. Y’all made Hypertension happen and I can’t appreciate you more.”

The project features singers such as L.A.X, Simi, Phyno, Not3s, Backroad Gee, and Omah Lay.

Furthermore, the album features tracks such as ‘New Born Fela’, ‘Ase’, ‘Contraband’, ‘Loose It’, ‘Oh Oh Oh’, ‘Converse’, ‘Fire’ and ‘Lagos City’.

Others are ‘Level Up’, ‘Philo’, ‘Nakupenda’, ‘No Other’, ‘Man Of The Year’, ‘Addicted’, and ‘So Cold’.

Shmurda rose to prominence with the release of the song “Vision 2020”, and a follow-up remix which featured Nigeria rapper Olamide.

In 2021, he got nomination for the Next Rated award at the 2021 edition of the Headies. However, the award went to Omah Lay.

Furthermore, Bella Shmurda was inducted into the 2021 YouTube Foundry Programme. He became the only African artist to be included in this class.

Shmurda made his debut at the 02 Arena in the United Kingdom, as a surprise guest performer, at singer Wizkid’s Made in Lagos concert in November 2021.
