Dr Dre Gives Health Update After Brain Aneurysm Diagnosis
Hip-Hop mogul, Dr Dre has released an official statement two days after he was admitted to the hospital.
He was hospitalised on Monday at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in the United States of America after suffering a brain aneurysm.
Giving an health update about his current status, the 54-year-old disclosed that he is doing fine and will be out of the hospital very soon.
He wrote on Instagram: “Thanks to my family, friends, and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
Dre‘s ailment is coming after his wife, Nicole Young filed for divorce in 2020. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for her split from the hip-hop mogul.
She is seeking $2 million a month in temporary spousal support and claims Dre may have underreported his income by running it through various companies. Young also claims he is funding the lifestyles of multiple girlfriends.
The couple were married for 24 years and have two children, son, Truice and daughter Truly.
