Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck got into a heated argument with police officers on Saturday after they reportedly tried to arrest him.
A video of the incident that appeared online shows the rapper asking the officers why they were trying to arrest him at the event.
The officers said Odumodublvck had been invited to meet with them before and asked why he did not want to go with them.
One officer asked the rapper if he was resisting arrest and wanted him to explain why he refused to go with them.
The officer said: “Invitation was sent to you, it’s okay. What I want to ask you now, are you resisting an arrest? If you’re not resisting an arrest, tell me why you are not following the police?”
Odumodublvck disagreed with the officers and said his lawyers had already handled the issue with the police.

He argued that the officers did not have the right to take him from the venue and repeated that he was not resisting arrest.
“You don’t have any jurisdiction, that’s what you want to do. Don’t tell me to wait. My lawyers came to your office, I am not resisting arrest, it was attended to,” he said.
He also claimed that the authorities were trying to stop him from speaking out in public and on social media.
“It is illegal to take me from here, my brother. You’re telling me not to tweet, not to speak,” Odumodublvck added.
The video did not make it clear why the police wanted to speak with the rapper or what the situation was about.
Since then, people on social media have been talking about the video and the argument between the musician and the officers.
