Erica: Fans Start GoFundMe, Gift Car to Disqualified BBNaija Housemate

Barely an hour after her disqualification from the BBNaija game show, former Big Brother housemate Erica Nlewedim has already been gifted a car and ₦2 million, and fans have started a GoFundMe with a $100,000 target.

Elites, members of Erica’s fandom believe that her disqualification was a conspiracy and as such, have decided to crowdfund and gift her $100,000, which is significant compensation; considering the odds that winning the BBNaija prize money entail.

Erica was disqualified by Big Brother after her third strike. She already had prior offences; one was whispering and the other staying too long in the Head of House lounge. She was already walking on thin ice. Then she got into a verbal altercation with Laycon; after she heard the things he was saying about her to the other housemates.

Erica is currently a trending topic on Nigerian Twitter, with over 1.03 million tweets buzzing about her disqualification. Prior to the disqualification, Erica always made it on to the trends list; being most-tweeted-about housemate by fans and haters alike.

Many have even likened Erica to Tacha, who shared the same fate last BBNaija season. There is a conspiracy theory going around that the show organizers are kicking away strong contenders through dubious means; though there is no definitive proof of this.

Despite her unfortunate exit, a car, ₦2 million, $100,000 from the GoFundMe, and fans that go hard should be enough to cheer Erica up.
