Faithia Williams’ Business Instagram Account Hacked
A lot of Nigerian celebrities have been victims of hacking, the latest addition to the list is Nollywood actress, Faithia Williams whose business Instagram account, @faithiahair has been hacked days after her marriage engagement.
Recall that just yesterday, micro blogging site, twitter went agog with the news that singer, Naira Marley‘s verified twitter account which used to be the home of Marley’s ‘deep thoughts’ has been taken over and turned into a private account by a certain “Fros” with a bio that reads: Ortam sanal olsa da işlenen suç gerçektir.
When translated via Twitter, it states: Although the environment is virtual, the crime is real.
Thus, celebrity’s social media accounts being hacked has become quite common these days.
In her case, Faithia Balogun now Faithia Williams was quick to notify the public via her private Instagram account that her business account on Instagram has been hacked.
The actress who recently celebrated her 51st birthday in Turkey, and got engaged same day warned followers in a post on Monday not to yield to any message from the account requesting for money.
“Hello guys, please do not pay to any account number sent to you via @faithiahair the page has been hacked. Please DO NOT PAY TO ANYONE. Do not send any message or reply to any. This account number will ask you to pay 3125621741 ONIHA JEFFERSON PLEASE DO NOT PAY. You will be updated once we have the account back. Thank you,” she wrote.
The account, @faithiahair, is used to showcase luxury hair extensions and wigs which are sometimes modelled by the actress herself.
