Falz Chronicles Lekki Tollgate Onslaught in ‘Jonny’ Visuals

Popular singer and activist, Folarin Falana otherwise known as Falz, has chronicled the Tuesday, October 20, 2020, onslaught of peaceful #EndSARS protesters at Lekki Tollgate area of Lagos.

With the release of the visuals for Jhonny, a single from Moral Instruction, Falz’s fourth studio album, the music star brought to limelight the footage of the onslaught by armed men in military uniform.

Aside the onslaught, in the Jhonny visuals, Falz introduced the recent Killings of Nigerian youths by the police.

Dedicating the video to all the fallen heroes of #EndSars, Falz maintained that “Justice Must Be Served! Every Single Person Responsible For These Gruesome Acts Must Be Brought To Book. It’s Time To Get Our PVC’s Ready, “The Power Of The People Is Greater Than The People In Power.”

Falz is one of the many celebrities who have been very vocal against police brutality in Nigeria, particularly of recent. Amongst some of the moves he has made, is an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari, where he sought the reconstitution of the National Human Rights Commissions board.

Prior to the time he wrote the president, he led hundreds of #EndSARS protesters in the streets, alongside Runtown.
