The family of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba on Monday, September 7th, has announced details of her funeral arrangements following her reported death after a battle with cancer.
According to the deceased actress’ family, her remains would leave the Ogun State University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, at 9 am, while the burial service would hold from 10 am to 11 am at Akesan Club, opposite Iperu Morning Market, Iperu Remo.
The obituary stated, “Body leaves OSUTH Sagamu by 9am. Burial service Thursday 10th of September, 10:00am–11:00am, Akesan Club opposite Iperu Morning Market, Iperu Remo.”
It added, “Interment: Iperu Remo Cemetery ground, immediately after burial service.”

Osoba, whose full name is Osoba Temitope Kofoworola, was born in 1985 and died in 2026 at the age of 40.
She built a solid career in Yoruba-language Nollywood films. She appeared in popular titles such as Gucci Girls, Igboro Ti Daru and Oogun Mi. She also produced the movie Single Ladies.
She entered the industry in 2005 after an unexpected dancing role. After that, she worked steadily for nearly two decades and earned respect from colleagues and fans.
The family earlier asked the public to ignore unverified reports about her death. They also requested privacy during this period.
