Nigerian skit maker and singer Nasboi, whose real name is Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji, has stirred widespread online reactions with his stance on handling private issues in marriage.
The content creator recently stated that he would consider it a deal breaker if his future wife ever took a private marital issue to the internet instead of resolving it at home.
His comment quickly gained traction on social media, with fans sharing mixed opinions.
According to Nasboi, maintaining privacy and mutual respect in a relationship is non-negotiable. He emphasised that certain matters should remain within the confines of the home, rather than being exposed to public scrutiny.
“If I get married and my wife brings a private issue we could’ve settled at home to the internet, that’s a dealbreaker for me“. He said.
Fans, however, have been divided in their reactions. While some supported his position, arguing that social media often escalates personal issues unnecessarily, others believed that speaking out online can sometimes be justified, especially in situations involving emotional distress or unresolved conflict.
