Fergie and Josh Duhamel Finalize Their Divorce

Moving on! Singer Fergie and actor Josh Duhamel have finalized their divorce. This is coming two years after announcing the end of their six year marriage. The two announced their separation in September 2017 after Fergie filed for a divorce in May.

They took their time to figuring things out and making sure this was the right decision,” a source told E! News. “They had a long separation to see if there was any chance of things changing. Over time, it became clear that they had made the right decision and that it was time to move on.”

They love each other dearly and they have a great relationship since separating. But they needed to finalize things so they could truly move on and close that chapter of their lives. There was no culprit, it was just time,” the source revealed.

However, the former couple who have a six year old son, Axl have agreed to share legal and physical custody of their boy.

Fergie, 44 and 47, year old actor, Duhamel got engaged in December 2007. Two years later they tied the knot in Malibu and in 2013, they welcomed their son.

Meanwhile, Duhamel fueled rumors he was dating former Miss World America, Audrsa Mari after the two were spotted smooching in a Toronto airport in October.

While the singer and actor may no longer be together, the two have maintained a friendly relationship. In August 2018, they threw an expensive superhero-themed pool party for their son, Axl.

At the same time, Duhamel has expressed his desire to have more children. While on the Armchair Expertpodcast with Dax Shepherd in December 2018, he said: “I’m not 30 anymore. I’m 45. I want to have more kids in the next few years. So it’s more about finding someone young enough to have kids. It’s not as if I’m out there trying to just f**k anything. That’s not who I am. I’m trying to find a girl that I can be with and have a family with.”
