Finally! 2face and Blackface Settle Out of Court

Finally! The feud between Tuface and Blackface is gradually coming to an end. The former band mates have agreed to settle their legal battles out of court. Just last week, Blackface filed his claim against 2face in court over song theft after the “African Queen” crooner slammed him with a #50m lawsuit.

But now, the two had an undisclosed settlement agreement at the Ikeja High Court after 2face dropped the #50m defamation suit against Blackface. Blackface also promised not to publicly accuse 2face again while the music legend agreed to work out an agreement that will enable Blackface receive royalties.

Blackface posted a picture on his Instagram page yesterday to thank his legal team for their support. He says he will be revealing the details soon.

He wrote: “Earlier today @Ikeja high court with my #legalteam Thanks for una support and services, Details coming soon.”

In the early 2000s, Blackface, 2face and Face were collectively known as the Plantashun Boiz. They dominated the Nigerian music scene with brilliant songs.

Sadly, the group split up after the exit of 2face who wanted a solo career. This didn’t go down well with the other members of the group but they moved on and each released their single albums.
