Fireboy pays tribute to Mohbad at his concert
Adekunle Gold and Fireboy recently paid tributes to the late Nigerian Street Hop star, Mohbad.
Mohbad tragically passed away at the age of 27 on September 12, 2023.
During his ‘Tio Tequila’ tour in Houston, Adekunle Gold paid tribute to Mohbad.
He then went on to deliver a captivating performance, entertaining the audience with songs from his recently released fifth album, ‘Tio Tequila.’
Similarly, at his Trace Live event, Fireboy paid tribute to Mohbad and joined the call for justice regarding the late Street Hop sensation’s death.
Several musicians and celebrities, both in Nigeria and internationally, including Kodak Black, Lil Durk, and Meek Mill, have expressed their condolences and paid tributes to Mohbad.
His music experienced a resurgence in streaming platforms in Nigeria following his passing.
The circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death have raised concerns. This include allegations of foul play and bullying, especially after videos of the singer being harassed by an individual named Sammy Larry circulated online.
The Nigerian Police are currently investigating the situation, and the public is eagerly awaiting the outcome of the investigation.
