Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Ike Onyema, has admitted that one of his biggest regrets from his time on the reality show was not understanding what it really took to win.
Speaking in a recent interview with IK Osakioduwa on Kaptain Jeff TV, Ike said he believed winning tasks and giving his all in challenges would be enough to secure the grand prize.

“I regret not crying. If I knew what the show is, guy, I’ll be in that house doing emotional this, crying up and down. But I thought if I go in there, win all my challenges and do gragra, that I’ll win the money,” he said.
When asked how much he made from his first appearance on BBNaija, Ike said his total earnings were about ₦3 million, despite winning several sponsored tasks.
“The first time, I can’t remember, but it shouldn’t be more than ₦4 million. It should be ₦3 point something million.”

He explained that although he won several challenges worth hundreds of thousands of naira, his total earnings from the show were still around ₦3 million.
Ike also opened up about the relationship he had in the house, insisting it was genuine and not just for content.
“For me, na normal relationship. I’m not so relationship person. I’m focused on business. I enjoyed it for the time that it lasted. The only thing I would change is I would try different ways to win that money.”
The reality star further spoke about his decision to relocate from the United States to Nigeria, saying that while life in America is enjoyable, Nigeria offers greater flexibility for entrepreneurs.
He also admitted to making financial mistakes over the years, including spending excessively on photoshoots and stylists, and investing in businesses without properly evaluating them.
