7 celebrities you didn’t know had LGBTQ+ kids

There are many Hollywood and sports celebrities who have lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer children; many of whom are celebrities themselves. Check out this list to find out which of these celebs’ kids are flying the rainbow flag.

1. Will and Jada- Pinkett Smith

It’s a double-whammy for Will and Jada as Willow Smith is bisexual and Jayden identifies as queer. For example, the vibrant way in which he accessorises or colours his hair was born out of non-gender conforming culture.

According to People magazine, Pinkett Smith said her son wanted “to give other people the freedom to think out of the box for themselves and not feel like in doing that that they would be bullied or be attacked in some way”.

Willow has explicitly said that she is bisexual and polyamorous; meaning she is open to having multiple partners at once

“I love men and women equally, and so I would definitely want one man, one woman,” said Willow when talking to her grandmother and mother on the television show Red Table Talk.

2. Charlize Theron
transgender

Charlize Theron first introduced her adopted child Jackson to the world as a boy. However, she later told Daily Mail, “I thought she was a boy, too… until she looked at me when she was three years old, and said, ‘I am not a boy!’ So there you go. I have two beautiful daughters who, just like any parent, I want to protect and I want to see thrive.”

3. Dwyane Wade

As of February 2020, Dwyane Wade announced that his 12-year-old child Zion will furthermore be known as Zaya, transitioning from male to female.

Wade has been very vocal in his support of his daughter’s decision, telling People: “I’ve learned to keep my mind open, keep my eyes open, keep my heart open, keep my thoughts open.”

4. Johnny Depp

Actor Johnny Depp and French singer/model Vanessa Paradis have a daughter together, named Lily-Rose Depp, who identifies as sexually fluid.

While she hasn’t labeled herself gay or straight, she instead told Nylon, “You don’t have to label your sexuality; so many kids these days are not labeling their sexuality and I think that’s so cool.”

5. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
transgender

It seems that Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh may be gay or transgender. In 2010, his ex-wife Angelina Jolie told Vanity Fair that their daughter Shiloh wants to be a boy.

Jolie said, “She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys’ everything. She thinks she’s one of the brothers.” Jolie and Pitt reportedly even started to call Shiloh “John” in 2008.

6. Sade Adu
transgender

Izaak Theo Adu, son of singer Sade Adu, shared a sweet message on Instagram, praising his famous mother, following his gender reassignment surgery in 2019.

“Thank you for staying by my side these past 6 months Mumma. Thank you for fighting with me to complete the man I am. And thank you for your encouragement when things are hard, for the love you give me. The purest heart. I love you so much. Queen of queens,” he wrote.

Izaak, Sade’s son with music producer ex Bob Morgan, came out as transgender in 2016.

7. R Kelly
transgender

The daughter of disgraced musician R Kelly came out as a trans man a couple of years back. In an interview with In Touch Weekly, he revealed that while his father wasn’t aware of his transition as at the time, his mother Andrea is extremely supportive.

“[My mom] was like, ‘Baby, you know I love you if you were bi, gay, [lesbian], you name it and I would still love you so much. She was very proud of me, I was like, ‘Thank you, mum, for accepting the fact that I’m a transgender.’”

Wow these celebrities are all screwed up with all of this stuff going on. I’m a Christian therefore I don’t approve of any of this type of behavior. God didn’t make anybody to do this.
