Nana Kwame Bonsam, the Ghanaian witch doctor who claimed to have ‘cursed’ Harry Kane ahead of England’s World Cup clash against the African nation, says he has now lifted the jinx.
Nana Kwaku Bonsam, who previously said his powers come from the Kofi Oo Kofi shrine and labelled himself as ‘Africa’s only Authentic Man’, said ahead of Tuesday’s match that he had been ‘working on’ a curse to stop Kane from scoring.
England struggled to break down Ghana’s resolute defence throughout the contest and were ultimately held to a frustrating 0-0 draw in Boston.

However, in the closing stages of the match, Kane had a golden opportunity to break the deadlock, but the England captain somehow lashed the ball over the bar.
The goalless draw brought renewed attention to Bonsam’s claims, but following the match, the self-styled spiritualist said he had now “lifted” the alleged curse placed on Kane.

In a video that was posted to Facebook, Bonsam said: ‘I am the most powerful spiritualist in the whole world.
‘Now, I am going to release Harry Kane so that, in his next match, he can score. Harry, I will come and visit you. Don’t be offended. We are friends.’
