As the 90th day approaches in the Big Brother house, participants have faced inevitable circumstances; some have had to leave the house, some issued strikes, some already winning star prizes from in-house competitions and some seizing the opportunity to find “soulmates”.
While the housemates toil for the N60m grand prize, fans have been combing the net, trying to get details about their favorite housemate. According to Google’s top searches on contestants, here’s a list of the top five most-searched “Pepper Dem” housemate.
1. MERCY
The 26-year old Lagos businesswoman says she would still partake in BBNaija 2019 even if she had a million dollars in her account because she needs the fame for her business. Mercy has consistently proven her video vixen skills at the Saturday night parties, serving spicy moves and succeeding in grabbing all the attention. Her relationship with fellow contestant, Ike, as well as her fashion sense, keeps her old fans unrelenting of their choice and attracts new fans. Mercy Lamborghini, as nicknamed by a fellow housemate, is loved by fellow contestants because of her kindness which is seen in the way she freely gives out her belongings to other ladies who came into the house unprepared. She is the most searched BBN housemate on Google.
2. TACHA
For one reason or the other, the “Port-Harcourt babe” is a constant topic of discussion in and outside the house. Ranging from her stern character to her uncommon boldness towards Big Brother and the host, Ebuka, the 23-year-old internet sensation has grown to be more popular on social media. Tacha, whose fans have been trending all over social media with the “Tacha till day 99” slang, is the second most searched “Pepper Dem”contestant.
3. MIKE
Mike Edwards broke the hearts of many when he revealed his marital status in the house. The well-built athlete disclosed to fellow housemates that he was only in the house for the fun, as fans were left wondering why a rich British Company owner would return home to partake in BBNaija. Mike grabbed the attention of fans few weeks after the start of the show, when he was seen handling Tacha’s tantrum like a man; viewers including his wife, took to social media to laud him for that attribute. The founder of the first Black-owned cigar brand in the United Kingdom, is the third most searched housemate in the house.
4. SEYI
Seyi Awolowo, who is often referred to as “Awolowo’s grandson”, has indeed blazed a trail in the Pepper Dem household. He has emerged as Head of House on different occasions; he once bagged the title twice in a row. Seyi is a Nigerian entrepreneur who is also a medical doctor. At a point in the show, he raised the hopes of fans outside the house on a possible relationship with Tacha, even though the duo both had partners outside the house. Seyi escaped getting a strike at a point when fellow housemate, Ike, got into a heated argument with him; while Ike was almost throwing punches, Seyi remained calm. He is the fourth most searched housemate on Google.
5. IKE
26-year-old Steve Ikechukwu Onyema, is often likened to Marvel’s Black Panther actor, Michael B. Jordan. Ike is one-half of the “gangstar couple”; with the other being Mercy Lamborghini. He had thousands of Mercy-fans rooting for him outside the house, when he showed interest in the twerk queen. After attempting to hit fellow housemate, Seyi, Ike was issued a second strike by Big Brother. He ranks fifth position among the top searched Big Brother Naija 2019 Pepper Dem housemates according to Google Search.
