Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, is engaged
Nigerian gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, says she is engaged to a senior pastor of Water Brook Church, Blessed Uzochikwa.
The gospel singer made the announcement on Thursday through her Instagram page.
She said she is blessed with the thoughts of spending her next phase and the rest of her life with the man of God.
Mercy Chinwo wrote “I am blessed to be blessed with @theofficialblessed. The thoughts of doing the next phase and the rest phase of my life with you makes the blessing more real. I love you sweet.”
Also confirming the latest development, Uzochikwa thanked the singer for accepting his proposal.
He wrote “I am the man the Lord showed Mercy! @mercychinwo thanks for saying Yes! I love you dearly!”
Mercy Chinwo started her career as an actress. She also participated in Nigeria Idol Season 2, where she emerged as the winner in 2012.
In 2013, she landed her first film role in Yvonne Nelson’s film, ‘House of Gold’, where she acted as Lucia, starring alongside Yvonne Nelson, Majid Michel and Omawumi, among others.
