Here’s What Some of Our African Stars Wore To The 2019 #BETAwards Red Carpet
The 2019 BET Awards, which ended a few hours ago, has enjoyed about the highest representation from African acts. With stars from Nigeria like Burna Boy, Teni, Mr Eazi, DJ Cuppy to South Africa like AKA, Nomzamo Mbatha and even those in the diaspora like Jidenna and Wale repping us with pride on the red carpet and at the award ceremony.
It wasn’t just their presence at the event which held at the Microsoft Theatre that caught our attention, it was their style on the red carpet that made us take strong notice.
DJ Cuppy looked like a disco goddess in sequined mini gown and Teni stepped out like the real sugar mummy in a custom ‘aso ofi’ shirt and matching pants.
