Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate Adeoluwa Okusaga, popularly known as Saga, has opened up about his unexpected entry into the reality TV world.
In a fresh interview clip shared by Channels Television on X (formerly Twitter), Saga recounted how his engineering coworkers spotted his charisma and creative potential.

“My colleagues at work literally begged me to go for Big Brother; I never watched the show,” he said. He explained that the push came because they believed he belonged in entertainment rather than his stable offshore oil and gas role in Port Harcourt.

Saga, who competed in the 2021 “Shine Ya Eye” season, described his motivation clearly: “I went to Big Brother Naija to launch my career as an entertainer.” He admitted sidelining his artistic talents during university at the University of Lagos, where he studied engineering. “When I was an engineering student in school, I didn’t even touch any of the creatives; I completely abandoned them. I started drawing officially the year after I left school,” he added.

The multi-talented star, who’s an actor, hyper-realistic artist, fitness enthusiast, model, and engineer, used the platform to pivot fully into his passions. He has starred in Nollywood projects like Anikulapo, built a thriving art career, launched fitness programs, and grown his Instagram following to over 1 million.
