Nigerian recording artiste, Olamide, has explained how he handles criticism from pundits and naysayers.
The ‘Wo’ hitmaker explained that it is impossible to evade criticism as a successful person or someone aspiring to be successful.
He added that one can tackle criticisms by remaining focused on goals and endeavours.

Speaking in a recent livestream, the rapper said, “If you want to blow or be great in life and you don’t want people to talk about you, then you’re not ready. People will come for you and chat sh*t about you, it’s now left for you to be focused.”
Recall that Olamide recently came under heavy criticism after he declared Wizkid as the “greatest Afrobeats artist after Fela.”

Some music fans, especially fans of Burna Boy and Davido, not only disagreed with him but also chastised him over his bold declaration.
Responding, Olamide argued that it was solely his opinion, and no reasonable person should let someone else’s opinion define their greatness.
