Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, widely known as Mr P, has opened up on social media about how reuniting with his twin brother and former Psquare partner, Rudeboy, may have affected his personal growth.
Speaking during a recent interview, the music star revealed that before the Psquare reunion, his online presence was growing rapidly, with his social media accounts reportedly gaining up to 100,000 new followers each day.
According to him, he was among the most influential Nigerian entertainers online at the time, competing closely with top stars like Davido and music executive Don Jazzy in terms of engagement and follower growth.

However, Mr P said things appeared to slow down after the brothers reunited as Psquare. He explained that the steady rise in his online numbers reduced significantly afterwards, leading him to wonder whether the reunion played a role in the change.
He said: “If I do my calculations, I used to have 100k followers daily back then. After Davido, it was me & Don Jazzy leading in followers. My followers stopped growing after the reunion with my twin brother.”
Despite his suspicions, Mr P admitted that he could not say for certain if the reunion was entirely responsible for the drop in momentum.
