Popular Gospel singer Chinyere Udoma has opened up about her longstanding relationship with Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, the Nigerian cleric popularly known as Odumeje, revealing that he took her in like a father 30 years ago, when she was nobody.
The 50-year-old singer, during a recent church service, disclosed that Odumeje, the leader of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry in Anambra state, accepted her when she was nobody.
She recounted the early days of the church, revealing that there were no ACs and a tiled floor.

She disclosed how the controversial pastor known by a plethora of names, including the ‘Indaboski Pahose’, ‘lion himself’, ‘the fight’, ‘the liquid metal’, ‘Lebadu’, ‘Seplae’, ‘fireman’, and ‘ladical prophet’, intervened when her husband was almost pronounced dead by the doctors.

Speaking in Igbo, she said, “Then nobody knew me, but he took me in like a father. I was nobody, but he took me in. Today, a lot of you accept me because I’m a celebrity.
“What one uses to pass the other is what you know; someone else does not know. Some 30 years ago, we conducted deliverance here. When it was bare floor, we waited upon the Lord. Then, if you have Weavon on, you can not enter here. You have to go and barb your hair before you come.

“When some of you see Odumeje and me, you will start talking. Shut up. Who made you a judge?
“When the doctor said my husband had died, I told the doctor, I don’t want to be a widow and the prophet said, ‘This man will not die.’ It wasn’t funny.”
She added that God has blessed her so much through his ministry, adding that she wants the world to know that they have been friends for more than thirty years
