
Ossai Ovie, the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, has expressed dissatisfaction with the outfits worn by Nigerian attendees at the 68th Grammy Awards.
In a post shared on his social media page, Ovie criticised what he described as the poor representation of Nigerian culture at the global event, lamenting that Nigerian artists failed to project their cultural identity through their fashion choices.

He specifically commented on the outfit worn by Chioma Adeleke, describing it as inappropriate and inconsistent with Nigerian cultural values.
Ovie also faulted her husband, music star Davido, for not discouraging the choice of attire.

“I am disappointed in Chioma Davido’s dressing. She shouldn’t have been half-naked to Grammy.
“She didn’t represent Nigerian culture well, embracing a half naked revealing Western style instead. Cultural representation matters, and it’s crucial.”
“I am disappointed in Davido for allowing her to dress this way. I am really disappointed,” he stated.
