Nigerian media personality, MC Fish, has mentioned that he is unapologetic about his failed marriage to movie actress, Anita Joseph.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, he said he doesn’t regret getting married at 27 because he felt happy and respected. The hype man said he saw everything he wanted in a marriage, hence why he married the actress.

He said he learnt from his failed marriage that honesty is vital in any relationship from both parties. According to him, couples should be as open as a book, no matter how hard it is.
Here is what he said, “If you love someone and care for the person, you shouldn’t be afraid to do whatever you want with the person. I always believe in optimism.”
He went forward to say, “At that point, I was happy and respected. And I saw everything I wanted in a marriage and went into it. I learnt that in any relationship, honesty is important on both sides. Let it be as open as a book, no matter how hard it is”.
In 2025, eelive.ng reported that Nigerian movie actress Anita said she and her estranged husband, MC Fish, no longer communicate as a couple. She stated that the marriage has broken down irretrievably because of a lack of love and compatibility.
