
Veteran Nigerian-born British actor, David Oyelowo, has shared a surprising story from his time at a boarding school in Nigeria.
Speaking about his school days, Oyelowo revealed that he deliberately pretended he could not speak Yoruba for two years, despite understanding the language.

According to him, the decision gave him an unexpected advantage because people freely spoke around him without realising he understood everything they were saying.
The actor said the situation became even more interesting when he ended up dating a pair of twins at the same time.
