Nigerian socialite Adeola Adeyemi, who is better known as Diiadem, has explained why she is single and celibate.
The businesswoman explained that she only wants to give her body to a man who is worth it.

Speaking on the Afropolitan Podcast, Diadem said she wants a partner who will add value to her life and contribute to her growth.
“I am celibate right now because I want to be with somebody that is so intentional about me. You’re not just coming at me because you want to sleep with me,” she said.

According to her, she has worked hard to build herself and would not allow anyone into her life only to make her feel less of herself.
“I’ve tried as much as I can to build myself to this point. You’re not gonna come into my life and then make me feel less of myself,” she stated.
Diadem explained that she expects mutual support in a relationship, saying she is willing to pour into her partner but also wants someone who will pour into her.
“If you’re not building me, you’re not pouring into me. Of course, I’ll pour into you as well, but you should be able to pour into me,” she said.

She further stressed that she is being intentional about who she allows into her personal space and who she becomes physically intimate with.
“If we cannot have a conversation with me first, let’s just build a relationship. Let’s build friendships. If you cannot stand that phase, then you’re not even deserving of me in the first place,” she said.
Diadem added that she would rather remain single than settle for a relationship that does not add value to her life, saying, “I’d rather carry my singleness with pride.”
