Ini Edo opens up about regretting her marriage to ex-husband
Veteran Nollywood actress Ini Edo opens up about her regretful marriage, stating she was forced into it.
Ini Edo married Philip Ehiagwina in 2008 but the union lasted only five years.
During an interview with Chude Jideonwo, she admitted it was a wrong decision and expressed regrets.
She clarified that she would consider marriage again if the right person comes along, but she is content if it doesn’t happen.
Ini Edo also shared her decision to have a child through surrogacy in 2021 due to previous miscarriages.
“I chose surrogacy because I had a couple of miscarriages. And I just got tired of trying. I don’t have a husband. So, I’m like, I want a child for myself, whether I have a husband or not. So, what other options would I have? And I wanted it to be my child. My eggs. Thankfully, my eggs are good. So I did that.” she said
