Nigerian singer Skales, has launched a fiery attack on a former presidential aide Bashir Ahmad following Ahmad’s comments about the growing unrest in Nigeria.
The singer shared his response on X (formerly Twitter) amid the wake of the tragic killings that happened in Jos on Sunday.
Ahmad had earlier warned Nigerians against supporting individuals he described as “agents of destruction,” claiming such people were pushing the country toward chaos. According to him, those instigating civil unrest would escape its consequences while ordinary citizens would suffer.

Skales, visibly angered by Ahmad’s remarks, responded with a barrage of harsh words, accusing the former aide of hypocrisy and insensitivity at a time when lives were being lost.
In his first post, Skales wrote in frustration, questioning whether Ahmad was aware of the deaths occurring in the country. He blamed both Ahmad and the previous administration for contributing to Nigeria’s instability, adding that the situation had worsened under their watch. The singer expressed deep resentment, saying he wished he could confront Ahmad face-to-face.

Skales intensified his criticism in a follow-up post, calling Ahmad a “terrorist sympathizer” and describing him as an “evil soul.” He went on to pray that the suffering faced by ordinary Nigerians would also befall Ahmad and his family, insisting that he had no sympathy for someone he described as an “evil person.” Skales urged Ahmad to focus on the lives lost rather than political rhetoric.

The heated exchange has sparked reactions across social media, with many Nigerians expressing frustration over the worsening security situation and the perceived insensitivity of political figures.
