Nigerian comedian and activist Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has strongly criticised the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing it as the “most useless government in the history of useless governments.
The outspoken entertainer recently made the remark on his official X platform, expressing deep frustration over what he described as the worsening state of the nation and the increasing number of tragedies affecting Nigerians daily.
Mr Macaroni lamented the growing sense of despair among citizens, stating that Nigerians now wake up each day only to mourn one unfortunate incident after another. He went on to question how many more lives would be lost before meaningful action is taken by those in power.

In his statement, the activist described the situation as “unbearably heart-wrenching,” highlighting the emotional and psychological toll recent events have had on the populace. He further accused the government of displaying a troubling level of incompetence in handling pressing national issues.
“President @officialABAT is running the Most Useless Government in the history of Useless Governments!!! How many more Nigerians have to die due to this abysmal level of incompetence?
“Nigerians wake up everyday to lament one tragedy of the other. Unbearably heart-wrenching!!!” He wrote.
Mr Macaroni has, over the years, been vocal on matters of governance, accountability, and citizens’ welfare.
However, the criticism adds to the ongoing national conversation about governance, security, and the urgent need for reforms to improve the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
