Kanye West living in football stadium to finish new album

Kanye West, multiple time Grammy Award winning artiste and fashion entrepreneur is preparing to release a new album, Donda.

Donda is Kanye West’s 10th studio album named after his late mother, Donda West.

Last Thursday, the rapper held an album listening session at the Mercedes-Benz stadium in Atlanta. The stadium is the home of MLS football team, the Atlanta United FC.

However, it appears the album isn’t done yet. Kanye has apparently been living at the stadium since the listening session was done.

Even the Atlanta team seems to love housing the rapper. The stadium’s official Twitter is currently named DONDA Studio at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

On Saturday, Kanye was spotted in the stands at the stadium during an Atlanta United’s football game.

West also shared a picture showing his living space within the stadium on his Instagram page.

The picture showed a small, undecorated room with a mattress and a wardrobe where some clothes have been hung. There’s also a suitcase on the floor, as well as shoes and dumbbells.

There’s also a makeshift nightstand next to the bed, and a bottle of water beside a glass. A flat screen tv and a digital clock hang on the walls.

The album, Donda was initially set to be released on Friday after the listening session. However, that was pushed back and the album will now drop on Friday, August 6.

Donda will be Kanye West’s first release since his ex-wife Kim Kardashian filed for divorce in February after four kids and six years of marriage. This will also be his first album since the release of his 2019 gospel album Jesus Is King, which won the Grammy Award for best contemporary Christian album.
