Did Khafi and Gedoni Cancel Their Wedding?
Former BBNaija housemates and couple Khadoni stunned the world last December when they announced that they were getting married. And Khafi just revealed that the wedding with Gedoni was actually meant to hold today! So what happened? Why did the wedding not happen?
The 30-year-old reality TV star revealed today on her YouTube channel that she picked April 4, 2020 because she liked the idea of double numbers. But her family did not approve of the date; saying it was too soon.
Khafi was going to go ahead with the wedding date until her fiance Gedoni, who she calls her other half; convinced her to postpone it to make her family happy. And as it turns out, that was the right decision.
The former police officer acknowledged that if she had gone ahead with her own plans, her wedding date would have coincided with the current lockdown which about a third of the world is currently under.
“I would be pulling my hair out right now; having to cancel things,” she said.
Khafi says she’s grateful that she listened to her mother even though she did not know there was going to be a pandemic. She then repeated that even though she was isolating on her own, nothing was going to keep her from marrying her “baby”.
