
Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has shared a heartfelt prayer in response to recent events in the country.
On Instagram, he shared that as he gets ready for bed, he keeps thinking about children sleeping in the forests, mothers holding their babies, parents praying for safety, and schools living in fear.
He pointed out that even with everything going on, election campaigns and preparations are still happening, and bloggers keep posting as if nothing is wrong.
Kunle prayed that we never get so used to tragedy that we stop feeling its impact.

In his words: “As I settle in for the night, I can’t help but think. As you go to bed tonight, remember children are sleeping in the forests… imagine the cold, the bugs, the fear, the discomfort.”

And somehow, in the middle of all this, election campaigns and preparations continue. Bloggers are posting about the election like everything is normal. May we never become so used to tragedy that we stop feeling it,” he stated.
