LadiPoe Stuns in New ‘Jaiye’ Video
Earlier in the year, MAVIN rapper, Ladipoe released the thrilling ‘Jaiye, ‘produced by his label mate, Johnny Drille. Since then, the song has gotten quite the buzz due to its feel-good vibe and the subtle rap Poe delivers on the track, making it one of the strongest works from the MAVIN team this year.
To top it all up, Poe releases the visuals, a retro type interpretation of what the song actually means – ‘enjoy life’.
Ladipoe sings and raps about enjoying the journey (Life) he’s currently on, instead of worrying about the destination. While the upbeat song finds him stepping out of his comfort zone, allowing him to show off his versatility, his lyrics remain as onoOpabisi and Kewa Oni; who take the artiste on a tour of Lagos, in fast cars, in ‘Danfo’ and by foot.
The video shows of the beauty of Lagos and the different ways people ‘Jaiye’ in their own settings. The vibrant clip reaffirms the song as ‘feel good rap music’.
