Larry King Hospitalised after Contracting COVID-19

Veteran American talk show host, Larry King has been admitted to hospital after he contracted COVID-19, The Mirror reports.

The  87-year-old broadcaster and CNN star was recently taken to a hospital in Los Angeles for medical attention, as he’s currently fighting for his life after contracting the infectious disease.

According to multiple reports, King contracted the virus 10 days ago.

The media personality is however at greater risk due to his age, and health history.

In the past, King had suffered from some health issues, which include -lung and prostate cancer, as well as a heart attack.

He also endured another near-fatal stroke in 2019, that left him in a coma ‘for weeks’.

According to the report, King’s family – that includes his wife Shawn and two sons –Chance, and Cannon were unable to visit him in the hospital because he is in isolation.

The award-winning television host is known for his work on The Larry King Show, as well as a long list of other television and radio podcasts including several iconic celebrity interviews.

Larry’s reported hospitalisation comes after a difficult year, during which he lost two children in 2020.
