Lil Baby Throws Birthday Party for George Floyd’s Daughter
American rapper, Lil Baby, has thrown a birthday party for Gianna, daughter of George Floyd, who died after a police officer knelt on his neck.
Following his death, celebrities had taken to the streets to protest against racism and white privilege in America; with stars rising up to support the 7-year-old daughter he left behind.
One of those is Lil Baby who surprised the little girl on Wednesday at her birthday party. The rapper noted that she was pleasantly surprised to see him.
Former NBA star, Stephen Jackson, also showed up to make Gianna‘s 7th birthday a memorable one; following his promise to Floyd‘s family to act like a father figure to her.
Pictures posted by Lil Baby shows a big colourful playroom decorated with lots of balloons; and kids wearing a customized T-shirt carrying with Gianna‘s name written on it.
The birthday girl stunned in a shiny multi-coloured dress and denim jacket.
eelive had earlier reported how Kanye West announced a college fund to cover the tuition for Floyd‘s daughter, including a donation of $2million dollars to support the grieving families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbrery, and Breonna Taylor following their deaths.
He also added that he’ll be aiding black-owned businesses with financial contributions.
