Lil Wayne may be ready to dish out more music to his teaming fans again, despite releasing ‘The Carter V’ Sometime last year.
The rapper had on Tuesday posted the emoji of a coffin on his Instagram stories leading to speculations by his diehard fans that he could possibly be dropping his ‘Funeral’ project, an album he had teased about three years ago.
Tunechi first revealed plans for a ‘Funeral’ project during his 2016 appearance on The Nine Club podcast, that he had a project called Funeral coming out real soon, but didn’t offer any additional information at the time.
“Just make sure they know that Funeral is coming soon. That’s my music. Get your roses ready. I don’t have a release date, but I have a whole bunch of good news coming soon. If you’re a Wayne fan, I know we’ve been going through a lot of tough times right now, but if you are a Wayne fan, we about to hold our heads high soon,” Wayne had said during the interview.
With no official statement to confirm the speculation, eager Tunechi fans can only keep fingers crossed and wait or see him on 2 Chainz’s latest video for ‘2 Dollar Bill’.
