Lupita Nyong’o Discusses Her Opinion On Colourism

During an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Lupita discusses her battle with colourism an experience that inspired her to write her new book “Sulwe”.

Describing the book as a liberal autobiography, she shares, “It’s a mirror for dark skin girls to see themselves. Specifically because I didn’t have that growing up, and I wanted to use the pain that I felt [as] my weapon, my gift,”

She also speaks about exchanging dad jokes with her costars on the set of “Us” and her role in the latest comedy horror film, “Little Monsters”.
