May: Actor Uche Maduagwu reveals what Judy did to win the heart of Yul Edochie

Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has weighed in on the ongoing drama surrounding actor Yul Edochie’s marriage to his second wife, Judy Austin.

According to Maduagwu, contrary to public speculation, Judy did not use any form of  “Juju” to win Yul’s heart.

Maduagwu via his Instagram on Sunday argued that Judy simply gave Yul what many married men crave for in a marriage.

The actor made it clear that although, he does not support Judy Austin’s role in crashing  Yul Edochie’s first marriage to May Edochie, emphasising that the situation highlights a broader issue in modern marriages.

He concluded by saying that every married man wants to feel like a king every day, urging women to maintain the same level of admiration and care they showed before marriage.

In his words: “JUDY did not use JUJU for Yul Edochie. 🙄 She Only treat am like THE #KING Wey him wife no treat am like in Marriage. 80% of Women treat their MAN like Kings before #WEDDING but FORGET to CONTINUE to treat them like Kings after Wedding.

“Do I support what Judy did to my Queen May Queen May #beautiful IGBEYAWO? NO, and everyone knows I no Dey support am, but this should also be a #good LESSON to Married women, so many married men are being NEGL*CTED in their #Marriages but they can’t COMPLAIN, many married women now see their husbands as PARTNERS and not LORDS, like SARAH saw Abraham in the BIBLE? Every married man wants to be treated like a King EVERY DAY but how many are being treated like Kings”

Yul Edochie unveiled Austin as his second wife in April 2022. He also announced their first child together — to the dissatisfaction of May, his first wife.

In April 2023, the actor unveiled the face of his second son with Austin during his first birthday anniversary.

In May 2025, the actor welcomed his third child with Austin, noting his plans to have five more children with.

May had filed for divorce from Yul, demanding N100 million in damages. In June 2024, DPA Family Clinic, the legal team of May, claimed Yul had stopped caring for his three children with her.
