Mercy Eke, the former Big Brother Naija winner has thrown her weight behind one of the housemates in the ongoing Season 10 edition of the reality TV show.
The reality star, who emerged winner of the Pepper Dem season in 2019, took to her X handle on Monday to declare support for Dede, a 23-year-old entrepreneur from Delta State.
“Dede a 10/10,” she posted without any extra comment, but the message was loud enough for her fans and Dede’s supporters to run with.
Her post immediately triggered reactions across social media, with many users noting that Mercy’s backing may give the young housemate a strong edge in the ongoing competition.

Dede, who was introduced during the Season 10 launch just weeks ago, is already pulling attention with his calm demeanour and consistent performances in house tasks.
Mercy’s endorsement comes as other BBNaija alumni have also begun publicly picking their favourites.
Erica Nlewedim, who featured in the Lockdown season, has shown support for Sabrina, while fellow ex-housemate, Tacha, is backing Isabella to win the show.
“Isabella is the full package,” Tacha posted earlier.
Also on the list of ex-housemates showing interest in the current season is Adekunle Olopade, who has declared his support for Sultana.
BBNaija Season 10, which began in early July, is already delivering its usual dose of drama, alliances, tension, and diary room confessions. This year’s edition is tagged “All Eyes on Us” and features a fresh set of housemates battling it out for the top prize.
The winner of the season is expected to walk away with a ₦150 million grand prize, which includes ₦100 million in cash, a brand-new car, a travel package, and various gifts from sponsors.
