Mo Abudu’s ‘Chief Daddy’ Sequel Is On the Way

Chief Daddy lovers may seem to have gotten another wish as a sequel to the blockbuster is already in the works.

Following the success of the 2018 comedy-drama Nollywood producer, Mo Abudu has announced the second installment. She revealed on Instagram that Chief Daddy Sequel will premiere exclusively on Netflix in 2021.

“I did promise you loads of exciting announcements in July, and in keeping with that promise; I have one more announcement to make before we end July,” she wrote.

“It’s exclusive to Netflix globally and will be coming to you in 2021. Remember our star-studded cast, they are all super excited about bringing you the sequel.”

Chief Daddy tells the story of Chief Beecroft, a billionaire industrialist who dies suddenly; leaving an unexpected will after being a flamboyant benefactor to an extended family of relatives, staff and assorted mistresses.

It featured stars like Funke Akindele, Falz, RMD, Dakore Akande and Ini Edo among others.
